H\u00f6gan\u00e4s\nBorgestad has completed its first energy-saving design project for the cement\nindustry in Russia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The refractory design was based on the double lining concept which was applied in the safety zone (4rm) and the pre-heating zone (19rm). Victor 60RK<\/strong>, an andalusite based high alumina brick, was used in the hot face of the safety zone and Viking 330, <\/strong>an alkali resistant fireclay brick, was used in the hot face of the pre-heating zone. The properties for those bricks are designed to fit together with the high insulation brick H\u00f6gan\u00e4s insulation M-E.
